The Versatile Powder Coating Process

1) Assesment of the product:

• Inspect for visual cracks
• Check for excessive wear and damage

2) The product is shot blasted with metal beads, and then a second inspection is performed to determine if the product should be discarded or is suitable to continue with the process.

3) The product is dipped in a special liquid primer solution, then in water to prepare for the Powder Coating.

4) The Powder Coating is applied and magnetically attracted to the electrostatic rim.

5) The product goes through a curing oven heated to 815°F for 15 minutes. The powder will begin to liquefy & cure at 400°F.

6) The refinished product is cooled and packaged for delivery.
